Love it. Amazing breakfast burritos (get the #1), fluffy pancakes, and perfect french toast. Very filling! There might be a queue but it can go quickly (maybe 30 min on busy days). Grab a coffee at their cart next door while you wait for your order. Friendly staff. Exactly the food and vibe you want from a beachside breakfast joint!

Counter service for a quick bite! You should probably get here before 9 AM because after that the line is at least 30 minutes. We only had to wait for about 10 minutes to order and then the food came out really quick after in a seat yourself type situation with both indoor and outdoor seating. I had the breakfast burrito #1 with sausage egg and avocado which is the best breakfast burrito I’ve had in San Diego yet. My wife had the breakfast sandwich which she enjoyed as well, we got plain coffee which was freshly brewed and tasted homey. Really neat surfer vibe cafe I’d enjoy again in the future and love to take guests to as it’s right on the boardwalk/path area in front of the ocean!

I ordered French toast with bacon, it was definitely filling! Quick and friendly service so the staff is the best part along with being right next to the beach. I ordered iced coffee but there isn’t any syrup for flavoring (I wouldn’t put that on them though because 1. I’m a creamer with my coffee girl & 2. They accommodated me by giving me another cup to get something else plus one of the ladies I was with enjoyed it!) 10/10 would recommend:)

This place definitely has the right atmosphere. They have a small indoor dining room, and multiple outdoor options facing the beach. Staff is amazing and friendly. Menu can be found online , and when you arrive. The grilled blueberry muffin was delicious and would definitely get again. Coffee was strong, and since I’m more of a blonder coffee lover- minus points, but I understand not everyone loves that too.

We always hit Konos for breakfast when we're in town. Good prices, always consistent & thos potatoes mmmmmm. There's a patio across the way where you can watch surfers and dolphins while you eat!

WOW! The previous reviews that we read before deciding to stop by Kono's this morning were spot on. The food was great. The service was quick. And the location? RIGHT off the beach at Crystal Pier! Perfection. My best friend and I are in town celebrating 20 years of friendship. I ordered the breakfast sandwich (as offered, no alterations), and she ordered the Big Breakfast #2. We finished everything and were so pleased. I also had the fruit cup. Mmmm... delicious. If you're in the area- stop by. You won't regret it! (The coffee stand just past the patio was good too. A little pricey, but perfect for washing down the breakfast sandwich - I had the iced Milky Way Mocha)

The line always looks long, but they are very fast and efficient. I've tried the burritos before and they are delicious, but the secret star for me was the veggie scramble with the Kono potatoes. It was a very large portion and very delicious. Highly recommend giving it a try!

Great food in a great location. The place is small so good luck trying to find seating inside when it's busy. That being said, their portion sizes are huge for the price and the food is delicious. It's right on the walking path so you can take your meal to go and enjoy it on the beach.

I've been to Konito's and I really like it, so I figured, why not try Kono's? Just as good with a line out the door and a nearby beach to walk on afterward. The french toast was nice with a side of bacon and the burritos have a great tortilla, fluffy eggs and other fresh fillings. Don't forget to ask for the salsa! :)
